Some of the artworks on the site are available for lease. The arrangements for leasing are as follows.

The cost of leasing is 1% of the artwork price per month (no VAT).
Commission retained by Art-Mart is 10% of the leasing fee.

The art owner:

• Frames the artwork, if necessary.
• Delivers the artwork to the lessee.
• Collects the artwork on termination of the lease.

The lessee is responsible for the safekeeping of the artwork and indemnifies the owner against loss or damage to the extent of the quoted value of the artwork.

Art-Mart collects the leasing fee from the lessee, preferably by standing order, and forwards this fee, less commission, to the art owner by bank transfer.

Minimum lease period is three months, after which time a lease may be terminated by one month's notice on either side.
Leasing is normally only available within the UK.
