Escrow service

Art-Mart can provide an escrow service for buyers and sellers of artworks on the site. It works like this:

1. The buyer pays art-mart the agreed sale price for the artwork, plus £3. This can be done by credit card on the web site but then there will be an additional charge of 4%, which must be added to the sale price paid by the buyer.
2. The seller arranges for delivery of the artwork to the buyer.
3. The buyer informs Art-Mart when the item has been delivered. Art-mart pays the seller the agreed sum less £3.

Art-Mart take a commission of £6 on each transaction - split between buyer and seller - plus 4% of the sale price for credit card transactions - paid by the buyer.
